The Hope of Alzheimer’s: An Advocate’s Journey is a documentary film in progress of the amazing story of Mary Kay Baum and her sister Chris Van Ryzin—two women who refuse to accept the diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer’s as a death sentence.  This web site will give you an opportunity to watch video clips of the film, link you with other sites for more information on early onset Alzheimer's and to join a forum to share your story with others.

Mark & Ellen Warner's "Alzheimer's Daily News" provides daily subscription to excellent summaries of the latest research on Alzheimer's and related neurological diseases. They provide links to the research itself.

Alzheimer's Reading Room
Bob DeMarco's "Alzheimer's Reading Room" stresses late stage issues because Bob cares for his 93 year old late stage mother. But he has refreshing views and understandings that appear almost daily.

The Myth of Alzheimer's
Peter Whitehouse, MD, Ph.D is the principal and author of the book of the same title. The site stresses reducing stigma and make care in aging a whole community responsibility. The site points out problems with early testing and drug promises. The site does explore humanizing, positive inter-generational approaches.

George Vradenburg, a former media executive, and the driving force behind the Alzheimer's Study Group and his spouse Trish write this nationally read blog. Trish is the author of "Surviving Grace," her comedic/dramatic homage to her mother, who succumbed to Alzheimer's. The play was produced at the Kennedy Center, Off-Broadway, and internationally.
