Goals
Replace Aloneness with Hope
We are not alone. We share emotional support. When one needs that
extra something to make it through the day, we say “Call me. I will
listen.”
Replace Fear with Knowledge
Science needs to see the whole picture and we each hold different clues.
We are able to document and communicate what makes us feel better.
By sharing our clues, the whole picture will likely becomeclearer.
Hopefully our grandchildren and their physicians will benefit
from our combined knowledge.
Replace Disease with Life
Now is the time to listen, connect, partner, and collaborate for the
sake of wellness.
It’s time to climb down out of our separate disease silos.
We are not diseases and there is not time to be just “disease-oriented”.
We can’t just wait for “a magic cure”. We have roles in strengthening our own quality of life.
We make decisions daily that, if well informed, may lead to healthier living.
We celebrate the loving energy already within us. By listening and connecting we relearn how to live life more fully.
By collaborating broadly, whole communities can relearn how to live life more fully and with more health and wellbeing for all.
Replace Silence with a United Voice
One small voice can be silenced. But united, we insist on being heard.
We who experience neurological challenges are powerful when we speak together.
We imagine a cleaner, healthier and more connected world. Telling our stories and sharing our insights
is how we join with others to move toward that world of greater wellbeing of all communities and species.
